VISWASS Student Training and Development department targets to develop, deliver and evaluate training in various aspects that directly contribute to the successful achievement of the objectives of the Curriculum. The students undergo ongoing educational training that improves students’ knowledge, skills, attitude, and social behaviour.

 

VISWASS School and College of Nursing organises workshops, seminars and conferences throughout the year, on a range of academic and learning skills e.g. self-management skills,study and exam skills, presentation skills, writing and critical thinking skills. Additionally we facilitate the students for attending training and development program organized by other
colleges and hospitals.

 

Activities:

• Provides curricular and co-curriculum training and development programs to enhance
  academic excellence and social cohesion of students.
• Develops and implements student development and leadership programmes that
  enhance effective leadership qualities in the student

• Conducts communication development training and organises practice interactive
  sessions to improve the communication skill of the students.

Faculty development Programme aims to enhance the academic and intellectual environment in the Institution by providing enough opportunities to its faculty members to pursue research and also to participate in seminars / conferences / workshops. Participation in such programmes would enable faculty members to update their research and Clinical skills.

VISWASS Faculty development Department provides its faculty members enough opportunities to pursue research and also to participate in workshops, conferences and seminars. This will help the faculty members to update their knowledge and skills.
